I spent some time last night setting some ‘within the next five years’ goals and writing a little letter to myself on my 80th birthday (hence the ‘you go, girl!’). Anyone else do this? Or is this a ‘just me’ thing?
Truth be told, I damn near pulled out some old magazines and a glue stick and made a collage…  (did I just write that ‘out loud’?).
Some of you just changed your opinion of me, didn’t you? I know, I know… I’m a dork. I’ve come to accept this about myself.
Anyway, I feel that I should share at least one of my goals because the research is pretty darn clear about what happens when we make our goals public. Here goes:
1.  I will become a New York Times bestselling author who has been a featured author at both The Tattered Cover and City Lights bookstores.
And there it is.
Out there in the open.
Just rolling around, waiting for me to make this a reality….
Sorta scary. Sorta exciting.
